Grilled Capsicum Hummus GF V SF

I am so pleased with this recipe that I whiped up on Sunday for my lunch to go with a nice fresh loaf of rye and wholemeal bread from the market and a salad. 

I used the first mini capsicum from our herb garden in this recipe but any capsicum/bell peppers would do to add flavours. I love hummus but I prefer mixing up different ingredients to change it up once in a while. 

I also love hummus as it means summer and salads are coming back into my life! Nothing better than a fresh salad with hummus for a light summer lunch!




Homemade Capsicum Hummus

1/2 capsicum char grilled
1 can of chickpeas or mixed beans well washed and drained
salt
cayenne pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp tahini
1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
1 tsp turmeric
