Health foods and recipes can be daunting sometimes for people just starting on their health journey- recipes sometimes called for so many ingredients with some you have never heard of! I tried to come up with a simple easy and delicious chocolate bliss ball recipe that used as little ingredients as possible that can be found easily in shops and in your pantry. It is also a great base bliss ball recipe to which you can add more ingredients to suit your taste.
Ingredients can be purchased from the main supermarkets and health food shops.

Chocolate Bliss Balls Ingredients:
- 1 cup of raw cashews or almonds
- 1 cup of pitted dates
- 2 tbsp of raw cacao powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp of water
Instructions:
- Mix in the food processor the nuts;
- Add in the dates then mix well;
- Add in the cacao and pinch of salt;
- Add in the water- more or less depending of the consistency. You need it to stick together but still be able to roll them;
- Roll them with the palm of your hands and keep in the fridge.
Options: you can add different nuts, goji berries, desiccated coconut, dried figs, roll them in cacao, coconut or chia seeds. The list of bliss balls variations is endless.
